ChildFund is breaking ground - literally and figuratively - with a new sweet potato project in Kenya's arid Turkana Region. #kenya🇰🇪 To many of our everyday donors, it might seem like nutrition, clean water, education, and child protection are the “urgent” needs. And they are. But responsive parenting isn’t separate from those needs — it’s the foundation beneath them.

Responsive parenting means caregivers are deeply attuned to their child’s needs, emotions, and signals — and respond with consistency, care, and timeliness.

When parents gain this understanding through ChildFund’s programs, families grow stronger. Fathers become more involved. Moms are supported. And every child has a better chance to thrive.
