Always impressive stories from your pictures; thank you

You mention Masai & Barabaig; all the world know about the Masai being pastoralists and you wonder what drove them to the shores of Babati Lake. Traditionally this area is much more Barabaig 'territory' if you like, at least the pastures for their cattle but a) livestock is decimated, rome to move as a pastoralist restricted, forced change from cattle herders/nomads to self sustaining farmers, stuck to a fixed zone which exposes them to cross caltural marriages causing exposure to diseases and lifestyles unknown the them and gradually decimating anothernomadic tribe. It's like eggs: the chiken makes more noise laying an egg than a duck and hence the whole world eats chieck eggs. The minority Barabaig tries to cope, with difficulty while they are as proud as the Masai we all know and have a rich culture, but are not as visible anymore ..
